The Jordan Preparatory Academy for Future Leaders is located at the former Kirby Middle School in Birmingham Alabama. After a request to the Birmingham City School System, the school was donated to us in an effort to promote revitalization in the Northside area of Birmingham.
The City of Birmingham and the State of Alabama is bringing economic development and community revitalization to this area by rebuilding the interstate that gives access to this area and by building a bridge that would connect the Northern Area of Birmingham to Downtown Birmigham. Our choice to place our school in this area was to uplift this community and to encourage business and organizations to build and intergrate this community.
