Dr. David Thomas, the newly installed 12 president of Morehouse College, and I at the reception following his installation on the school's founders day.
Thomas took office as the 12th President of Morehouse College on Jan. 1, 2018, ushering in a new era of leadership for Morehouse College, the nation’s largest and most prestigious liberal arts college for men.

Councilman Bond attends "Off The Wall" Project Unveiling
I am sincerely touched by Sheila Pree Bright's impeccable artistry in conjunction with WonderRoot's "Off The Wall" project, which consists of 30 different murals throughout the city that celebrates Atlanta's unique place in civil rights history.
This image of my father cradling my older sister while standing alongside his team of civil rights organizers, SNCC, represents the sense of unity that has been deeply embedded in our community for generations to come.
Mural Details: "Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee, headed by Julian Bond, with his daughter Phyllis, Atlanta, Georgia, March 23, 1963"
